Right, enough of that - let"s get on with the auction.
Our company is William Pritt Ltd. We are a trade outlet for a Porschedealership, and we sell their excess stock and part exchanges. They deal in high end, low mileage Porsches, and we sell everything else. This stock needs to be moved on quickly and is therefore sold on eBay and Autotrader at trade prices. Our aim is to be 100% honest in our listings, and all our vehicles are HPI clear.
This vehicle has been taken in part exchange, and is now a 17-year old classic, which will soon start appreciating in value:
- MOT to March 2018 The car has just flown through MOT with no advisories.
- Currrent owner for over 10 years
- Usual electrics - mirrors, windows etc - working fine
- Very good tyres all round with plenty of tread
- Electric seats
- Cruise control
- Original stereo
- Two keys
- Full leather interior
- Part service history. Fully stamped in the book up to 70k. It has been serviced since then, but receipts lost by current owner so sadly we cannot say it has full history without these receipts.
Mechanical
No advisories on the MOT just done would indicate that this vehicle needs no imminent work. This vehicle has been test-driven for over 30 miles and drives very well. The gear change is smooth, no noises, bangs or rattles, good power through all gears. Gear changes are automatic, or can be done manually through the tiptronic buttons on the steering wheel.
Bodywork
The bodywork is in very good condition, considering the mileage and age. There is one small patch where the paint is bubbling - the size of a 20p piece. Very small paint crazing on front bumper. The car is HPI clear for accidents and finance.
Interior
The full leather interior is in generally good condition. Very slight wear on driver"s side seat bolster. The hood works fine. Porsche carpets are present.
The wind deflector is not included in the auction.
Hood
The hood itself is in great condition.The rear plastic window of the hood has seen better days and could do with replacing. Thre are eBay sellers offering this for approx £150. Currrently it is not easy to see through, and there is a small crack in it which has a temporary repair. The repair is watertight and no water has come into the vehicle.
We also have a hard top for this vehicle - same colour and with all fittings. It is not included in the auction but can be purchased separately.
This car is advertised elsewhere, and we reserve the right to sell outside of eBay.
This is a 5 day auction with no reserve. We have described the car accurately and honestly, but feel free to ask any other questions about the car, or come and see it/drive it if you want to. Please do this BEFORE you put a bid in, as all bids are final. If you are the winning bidder, you have won the car based on the description above, and we would like a deposit or collection within 72hrs. Please do not bid and a) cancel, b) not show up, or c) come round and haggle on the price. This just wastes everyone"s time.
These 5-day auctions generate a lot of interest. For this reason, I"m afraid we won"t respond to texts along the lines of "how much do u want m8". Please feel free to make an offer, but again if we don"t respond, that means it"s probably not a sensible one.
This auction vehicle has been taken in part exchange by a Porsche specialist, but they don"t sell vehicles of this age and mileage. They are put on auction to get them cleared from stock quickly, which normally means a very good deal for you. These vehicles are driven 10-20 miles or so and given a visual check in order to provide an accurate listing. However, they are not fully mechanically inspected, and therefore there is no warranty included with the vehicle. This is a trade sale.
