For sale is my 1999 1.3 Proton COMPACT Spectrum Rally Car:
I have only owned the car for a few weeks, however changes in circumstances means I will no longer have the time to spend on it so I am having to sell up. 
Specification as follows:- Mitsubishi Evo suspension - Cobra Monaco bucket seats - 6 point harnesses- Foot rest - De cat exhaust system (will pass MOT)- Tom"s steering wheel - Full Mk 2 Escort roll cage, rear interior stripped out (comes with old rear seats) - Navigator lights  - Mud flaps - Bonnet pins - 14 Proton alloy wheels with all weather tyres - Paintwork is a rare light blue, which is only on spectrum models- Come with a quick shift, however it has not been fitted - Previous owner informed me that the current engine has covered around 60k - 10 Months MOT
Bad points (was planning to get these sorted): - Few rust patches, small dents and scratches here and there, but nothing that can"t be easily corrected - this is expected of a rally car though. - The engine leaks oil in places (not a large amount at all - you don"t have to keep topping it up), and I have noticed smoke coming from the exhaust, so the head gasket could be on its way out?- The front right suspension knocks when you go over bumper - I believe the shock needs changing (around £60 from a breakers) 
Spares:- Being a rally car it comes with lots of spares including a engine, x2 spare wheels, standard suspension, ancillaries etc. 
This is a really fun car to drive and the handling is amazing, I am truly gutted to be selling but it needs to be done. I hope someone out there can enjoy the car and make the most if it. 
Starting bid is set to £800, which is a very good price considering the parts fitted on the car - I could probably break the car for more if I really wanted, but would like it sold as whole. You won"t find another Proton rally car or any other rally car at this price.
