Saab 9-3 Convertible S.E.
Hi,
this is my lovely Saab 9-3 convertible 1999 reg. It is one of the real Saab"s (not Vauxhall) and is really well built, with an excellent engine, bodywork and interior (as you"d expect from Sweden in those days - not Ikea!)
This is a T-reg (1999) with 107,000 miles and therefore isn"t a showroom model and has a few marks and wear on it as you"d expect.
So straight away I"ll highlight the faults: 
1. Although it"s shown as a convertible, unfortunately the roof will not convert as the tonnaue drive u.j. broke last month. This part is easily available via ebay for approx £125 but needs specialist fitting.2. Rear exhaust is blowing and needs replacing. Approx £105.3. Remote locking fob is temperamental.
Now the good bits:
It"s lovely! A modern classic (will be soon).Lots of style and fab interior including leather seats, walnut style dash, great engine & gearbox, multi disk CD player and a cassette player! What modern cars allow you to play your Duran Duran cassette whilst cruising?? (actually I"ve never tried the cassette player as I no longer own any, but if that is your main purchase dealbreaker then I"ll endeavour to find one and test it).It has headlight wipers!Full leather seats (drivers seat is a little worn at the side but still nice - no tears).Quality soft-top with excellent insulation.Cruise control.Half leather/ wood steering wheel (classy).2 litre turbo assisted engine.4x independently controlled electric windows, but also with master switch. Really smart ignition key lock which doesn"t allow removal unless vehicle is in reverse gear! No rolling away when parked on a hill! (Very clever).Style.
Summery: This is the nicest car I"ve ever had, but I can"t afford the repairs and running costs.
This is a nice car which needs a little attention.
