FOR SALE – Volvo C702.4 LPT I am selling my much beloved Volvo C70 2.4 litre Low Pressure Turbo in metallic blue with cream interior.  I’ve loved this car and am gutted to have to sell but have had to buy something with 4 doors. The C70 has great performance and classic looks and is as comfortable to drive today as it was when it was first launched. 5 owners from new and I have owned this car for the last five years. 1999 registration and 149k on the clock but this is low for a Volvo. MOT until June 2015. Only advisories at last MOT were tyre changes which have been done.  In good condition for age inside with original C70 thick pile carpets, half leather seats (showing some wear), after market installed Touch Screen DVD player with remote, Radio, CD player, Bluetooth, electric mirrors and windows, original C70 Owners hand book, one key and two fobs. Power Assisted Steering, ABS brakes, Remote Central Locking, Climate Control, Cruise Control, Alarm & Immobiliser, Tilt Adjustable Steering Wheel.  Paintwork is in ok condition for the car’s age in the main but has a few marks and scratches to the bumpers that are considerable for the age of the car. ABS, 17 inch Canisto alloy wheels, good tread on all tyres, original spare wheel and car jack in boot. Work carried out in 2014: ·       Passenger wheel bearing replaced. ·       Offside front upper anti roll bar linkage ball joint. ·       Nearside steering rack gaiter replacement ·       Changed tyres all round ·       New air filter Bad points that I can point out: ·       Rear brake pads started to sound warning grind on journey back from paying for my new car – I have bought a full set of rear brake pads but haven’t had time to change these. I will include these in the sale and have reduced the price by £50 to cover fitting by a garage!!! ·       The SRS warning light stays on. This is due to the airbag system needing to be routinely changed on Volvos but as this costs as much as the car itself to have done by Volvo I have chosen not to have this done.
