“Lovely beautiful car, enjoyed owning this, but now got a newer company car. Has a small dent (photographed) and paint has gone a little flaky at the top of one of the doors where roof rack used to be (photographed). Usual stone chips for a car from a 15 year old car, but nothing to worry about.”

I am selling my lovely 2000 X Reg Alfa Romeo 156 1.8 petrol, which I acquired in March 2014, and enjoyed every second of having it. 
This really is a joy to drive and to look at. 
It is a low mileage example (96k) with loads of history, and most (if not all) MOT"s. Unlike a lot of Alfas, there have not been any electrical issues - you really could pick up a bargain here, that isn"t a money pit! 
The car has only had 3 previous owners since new, with the previous owner who I bought this from having had it for over 10 years. It really has been loved and looked after. 
The car looks stunning with the desirable pepperpot alloy wheels. 
The car is 1.8 petrol and is pretty economical, although it can get up to speed when needed. 
Exterior
The car is beautiful to look at, and is in a very nice dark blue metallic paint finish. However, this is a 15 year old car and does have a couple of small areas to bring up. I have photographed both issues so that there are no surprises for the buyer. Firstly, there is a small dent near to the drivers side front light. I bought the car with this, and I have not done anything to it to sort out. It doesnt appear to have gone through to metal work, so I expect that the dent would be able to be pulled out if required. The second thing is that I bought the car with roof bars, and when I removed them, it appears that they have scratched the paintwork a little. There is a small amount of paintwork blemishing and a couple of spots of rust. Of course, there are a few small stone chips that you would expect for a car of this age. 
Interior
The interior is very comfortable, and yet sporty with Alfa sports seats. The interior is very good condition with no burns or rips. The carpet under the mat on the drivers footwell is a little worn, but with a mat over, this is not noticeable. I have changed the stereo to a new Sony Bluetooth Audio System, which is radio, single CD, USB connectivity and Bluetooth, which allows you to use your mobile phone handsfree. 
Mechanics
I am not a mechanic, however i have not had any issues with this car. The car has always started first time every time, and runs through the gears lovely and smoothly. There are no oil or water leaks or funny noises and there have not been any lights coming up showing electrical issues. It may benefit from a service, but thats up to you. There is a note in the service book at 36k miles that the Cam Belt was changed.The tyres are all good, and comes with MOT until towards the end of September 2015. 
I have lots of a whole folder of receipts, previous MOTs, V5 and manuals. I also have two keys. Both keys require new batteries for remote central locking (worked when the batteries where ok) and with one of the keys, the casing is slightly damaged, but doesnt affect the use of the key at all. 
As I say, I am only selling due to getting a newer company car, and i will be sad to see this go.
