10 Months MOT (until 27th March 2016) We"ve had this car for the last 9 years, bought for my wife to use for her childminding business. We looked for a turbo diesel model for the better fuel economy and lower tax price, as well as a manual gearbox. It has had 2 previous owners, and had a full dealer service history up till 54,000 miles and during my ownership all service and repair work has been carried out by our local garage. We have bills for all repairs and replacement parts since we have owned it. As said above, the car has been used for my wife"s childminding business and has therefore had an easy life during our ownership only doing school runs, play group trips etc. As the car is used for the business, the safety and welfare of the children in her care was paramount so all necessary services, repairs and consumables (such as tyres/brakes) have always been maintained and changed as soon as required (if not before!). Oil and filter have been changed at every 12 months regardless of the mileage, corresponding with the MOT date. During our ownership the car has averaged less than 5,000 miles a year. All tyres have plenty of life left in them, exhaust is almost new and has had recent wheel bearing change - all receipts present. There is a stack of paperwork detailing all the parts changed and all previous MOT certificates are present. Reason for sale is we have recently decided to upgrade so this car is being offered on eBay for sale on 5 day listing and if it does not sell then we will use it as part trade in against the new car. As with any 15 year old car there are bound to be some bad points, please find these listed below: Paint work and plastic bumpers has some scratches, car park dings, stone chips and a tiny bit of rust. The worst of these are pictured. For the last MOT the car required to have some welding carried out on the rear sill near the rear arches. The welding work has been covered in anti-corrosion paint and we have not had it sprayed in the body colour. This can be seen in the photos also. The interior plastics have some scuffs and the leather seats also have a few scuffs. The most notable damage to the leather is on the headrests were there are some small puncture marks. These have been there since we purchased the car and I am not sure how they were caused (dog paws perhaps?). Air conditioning pump/motor was removed when a new water pump was fitted as it was not working. I still have these parts that were removed and will be included with the car. I have been told by the mechanic that removed it that the motor has failed and would need replacing or reconditioning. There is an intermittent fault with the immobiliser. This occasionally restricts the car from starting. We have found that pressing the relays located under the steering column rectifies this problem, and only takes a few seconds to reset. The buyer can live with this issue as we have or look to have it solved, but we have never found it to be too troubling. Any questions please ask. More pictures can be sent on request.
