Hello and thank you for taking the time to look at my Boxster. I bought this car last year to use as a commuter whilst my other car was in storage. I have had a few Boxsters over the years and I think they are fantastic little cars and great value for money. This car is the desirable Boxster S meaning you get a 6 speed gearbox and a 3.2 liter engine, making this the Boxster to buy!
Bodywork:
The car is finished in Zenith blue which compliments the car very well, it looks classy but different from the usual silver. The paint finish is extremely good, it has a lovely deep shine to it. The panel gaps are all good and there are no note worthy dents or ripples. The front end has a few stone chips which is to be expected but nothing un-sightly.
Interior:
Finished in navy blue leather, the interior looks fantastic against the blue paintwork. The seats are in good condition, with only slight signs of wear to the drivers seat bolster. All leather trim is in excellent condition as are the plastics and carpets. All buttons and gauges work as intended.
Roof:
Again, finished in navy blue I think it looks great with the interior and body work. The canvas is in very good condition, no rips or tears. The rear screen is just a week old and obviously brand new. The hood opperates perfectly by the push of a button. With the roof up, there is no wind noise which always amazed me being a convertible. The rear defelector is present and correct too.
Engine:
The 3.2 liter engine fires up instantly and settles into a smooth sounding idle. The car has just benefitted from a service. The car uses no measurable ammount of fluids and it always runs nice and cool with the cooling fans kicking in when needed. On the road, the car pulls very well indeed and feels very taught.
Gearbox:
The six speed gearbox is a joy to opperate, all gears can be selected with ease with no adverse noises to be heard or felt. the clutch has a nice biting point and neither slips or judders.
Brakes:
The Boxster S has nice big red calipers with drilled discs which give the car a purposeful look and slow you down with ease. The car had some new brake lines last year and a brake fluid flush through. The pads and discs are in good order and have plenty of meat remeianing.
Papaerwork:
The car comes complete with the original service history wallet containing everything you would hope to see, a suitably stamped up service book, owners manuals, stereo codes, spare keys etc. Accompanying all of this is a file of invoices documenting previous work etc. The car has MOT until April 2015.
Summary:
This is a fantastic example of a Boxter S, the car is in great condition and drives very well indeed. I am certain the new owner will enjoy it as much as I have.
I am asking £6500 ONO which I feel is a realistic price, I went to see a fair few others before buying this and I found that most cars had been neglected and were wanting for a lot of work, which quickly becomes expensive!
