I"m listing this as a favour for someone that doesn"t understand Ebay.
Here is my straightforward appraisal of the car.
The MOT for the car has expired. In preparation for a new MOT I recently helped the seller to replace the driver"s side suspension strut with used part as the spring broke and damaged the shock absorber.
At the same time I replaced the front disks and pads with new items. Parts in total were about £90.
Once it went back on its wheels it was clear that driver"s side CV joint and or the wheel bearing needs replacing as it vibrates over about 20 MPH.
The battery discharges quite quickly and I expect a diode needs replacing in the alternator or a second hand replacement fitting.
The seller doesn"t have much money and doesn"t want to risk throwing more at it in case something else shows up.
The interior is dirty and needs a good clean.
The exterior of this Fabia is good. It has a light scrape on the nearside across the doors but most of it will polish out in my opinion. There is a small scrape on the rear driver"s wheel arch that will respond well to a bit of paint from a rattle can.
There is also a soft dent in the front driver"s wing which hasn"t broken any paint and is purely cosmetic. Being Silver it wears these blemishes quite well. There is no apparent rust.
It was in use daily before it went bad and it has good tyres pretty much new on the rear.
Starts here at sensible price (less than the cost of the replacement parts we put on)  and its on offer from the first bid.
There is no PayPal on this item we will only accept cash on collection. Car must be paid for and collected by the end of the first Sunday from the auction end as space is needed.
