Chassis number SCALA61E5YCH04092 - all Seraphs were hand built at the Rolls Royce factory in Crewe, , which ceased production Rolls Royce models during 2002 but continued with the production of Bentley. These cars had a base price of £155,175 making them the second most costly Rolls Royce produced, the most costly and exclusive being Corniche. Powered by the 5.4 litre aluminium alloy BMW V12 engine operated via a 5 speed automatic transmission, this was the first twelve cylinder Rolls Royce since the 1939 Phantom III. The Seraph has a column mounted gear selector and the gauges follow a traditional Rolls Royce layout with no Tacometer, the seats and dashboard are of Connolly Leather, with the dashboard, trim and folding picnic trays for rear passengers faced with glossy burl walnut veneer. A total of 1,570 Silver Seraphs were produced before production ceased during 2002. This example is presented with an 11 stamp Bentley and Bentley Specialist Service History recording the most recent service during May 2016 at 100747 miles along with the drivers book pack, a good quantity of previous MOT test certificates and some previous invoices. This example also benefits from an advisory free MOT test certificate until February 2018.
