Hi, and thanks for looking
Here for sale is this very cute and sporty looking little YARIS, it being the SR model its quite rare now and with its low 118k its low mileage for the year!
Why is it for sale? I took it as a part exchange from one of my students against one of my bass guitars, she had wanted my bass for a long time and had bought another car after needing a 5 door car for her little "un to get in and out of a little easier with the baby seat etc. She had been passed this car on through the family as it had been her grandad"s before, he had sadly passed away and the YARIS became hers.
MOT - 9th October 2016Only advisory was for a deteriorated headlight lens, I"ve polished this out so its fine!
It"s been family maintained for years, and looking over it I can see it been recently serviced with new oil and air filter etc
Air conditioning is nice and cold which is another sign its been looked after :)
I"ve given it a good drive around and noticed it was slightly down on low end power, so I"ve cleaned the throttle body, cleaned the MAF sensor and checked over all fluids, after cleaning the MAF sensor it seems alot better, but I"d get another one as its £18 on ebay and 1 minute to fit as its 2 screws, I can show you this and even someone with no mechanical knowledge can do it!!
NO WARNING LIGHTS!
Bodywork - has a bit of lacquer peel on the bonnet, I"d get one off ebay or a scrapyard for £20 rather than bother spraying it! Odd mark, but no rust or obvious dents
Interior - very tidy, not been smoked in. Handy back seats move back and forth for a bigger boot space if needed, so you can get a pram in it.
What will it need for the MOT?
All I can tell is the handbrake is a little high but holds perfectly and maybe a tyre, all tyres are fine, but depending on your mileage you may need one!
That"s it! No over heating, no bad noises, its a good little chain driven car you can drive away happy with
