FULLY HPI CLEAR - No finance, no crash damage and not stolen!
For sale here is my fathers Porsche 911, he’s recently lost his mind and purchased a mid sized SUV and despite my protests the Porsche will not be ‘handed down’ to me and must now be sold.
He’s owned the car for around 4 years now in which time it has been used daily to travel to work and back covering around 6500 miles a year. When looking for a 996 it took a while to find one in silver with the right mileage and condition and options, I’d like to say we looked at lots and bought the best one, but this was the first one we viewed and it checked every box, it was kept in the garage of a wealthy property developer whose wife used it occasionally for visiting friends, there was no need to look any further.
Since purchase the car has been looked after regardless of cost and cleaned regularly as you would expect any Porsche to have been.
The car comes with a full and comprehensive service history, I work for a German car specialist so I have looked after the general maintenance of the car however due to our busy workshop, repairs have usually been undertaken by PorscheCentre Nottingham or Cavendish Porsche in Long Eaton.
The pictures were taken a few days ago and I think they are a fair representation of the cars condition.
The car does have minor signs of use consistent with age and mileage however as you can see from the pictures it has been very well looked after, the wheels are all clean and tidy on the outer surface but show a little paint peeling inside the wheel. The body work is in excellent condition with no dents and very minimal, if any, stone chip damage, the windscreen does however have a small 5 pence sized stone chip on the passenger side near the wiper park position, it has been treated but still visible.
The interior again is in lovely condition showing only minor signs of use.
The car starts stops and drives exactly as you would expect, the power and torque from the engine is truly smile inducing and the Brembo 4 piston brakes stop the car without any trouble at all.
There are no unwanted noises from the engine, gearbox or suspension.
Any mechanical issues the car has had, have been taken care of as soon as they were identified. Within the last year it’s had £2500 worth of work carried out atPorsche Nottingham replacing gearbox oil cooler lines and various suspension components as well as a new ignition switch as the barrel failed.
Remote Key doesn’t function, possible battery or coding issue so car has to be unlocked old school key in the door style but I’ll look into this when I get chance.
Tyres were all replaced less than 2 months ago with Pirelli P-ZERO Rosso all around.
