Here we have my good old POLO 1.0E which I have driven for 10,000 miles in the last six months and has never missed a beat. Mileage is now just over 129,000.
The MOT expires on the 11th November 2015 so there is about a month left.
It is a bit small for all my kit and the dog so it has been replaced.
Might make short term runaround for a month, act as a donor car or be worth doing up fot it"s next ticket.
Good bits
It runs, drives and stops.
Cambelt replaced at 103K. Plugs and air filter just replaced (spare pollen fitlter, fuel filter and oil filter come with the car)
Loads of old MOT"s and receipts.
It has Oz Racing Alloys, average tyres (195/50/r15).
Bad bits
The alloys have been scuffed and have a couple of dents in the rims.
Middle exhaust section is blowing on the bracket, could be welded or replaced (£18 on Ebay)
Indicators are held in with sellotape on the front.
Paintwork scruffy and dull, scrapes on the bumper corners and a small dent in the passenger side rear door.
Will need a good clean inside (smoked in and dog hair)
Handbrake will need adjusting.
Drivers door handle doesn"t work so you have to open the window to let yourself out,
No central locking. One key opens the drivers door, the other does the ignition and boot. Neither key unlocks the passenger door.
Someone has nicked the radio aerial.
I could go on but you get the idea so it maybe best to come and look..........
On the upside, it has Mercedes Benz floor mats - that"s gotta be worth an extra fiver LOL.
Overall view
It is what it is. Could make someone a short term car. Think farmyard condition rather than showroom.
So it is starting at scrap price plus the petrol that"s in it (half a tank).
It will drive away.
