Hi
You are bidding on our Volvo S40, we have had for over a year now, and is running fine, but we have enough money to upgrade a bit.
This is obviously an old car, and has scratches etc. on the body as you would expect with a vehicle this age. There is also rust areas on both offside arches, significantly the front as pictured. Passed the last MOT OK though, next due on 5th November 2015.
No tear"s on the upholstery, but again not spotless as it is 15 years old.
Air con works fine, fan speed controller was broken, but I have fixed that with a DIY job.
Autobox works fine going up through the gears, does seem a bit jolty sometimes as you slow down, and gear changes. Car accelerates fine.
This car had new discs and pads all around a month or so ago, as I thought we were going to keep the car. Tyres were new last year, and don"t have many miles on them. Battery was new just over 2 years ago.
Last service was on oil change done DIY, but I can"t switch of the "service due" light.
Will make a nice run around, as I"m sure it will go through its next MOT, and actually would make a great project, but apparently I"m not allowed.
I guess at the price some spares might be useful, but I think it"s worth much more than that.
Car must be collected from Benfleet, Essex at auction completion, and cash on collection preferred.
Log book and two keys available, but spare is a damaged standard key, not remote type.
