Here for sale is my BMW 728i Facelift Auto/Tiptronic in Silver. The car is fully loaded with optional extras and was a great runner with both petrol and LPG, however now needs the Head Gasket replaced.
The story behind the head problem is as follows:
About a month ago the car was running perfect,but smelt gas when driving on LPG. I found a local ALLEGED mechanic who basically removed the head to repair the LPG and also changed the radiator. To cut a long story short, he was a useless mechanic who basically didnt replace the head correctly or the radiator and basically cooked the engine. The car does not drive now and will need trailered away. Ive now lost interest in the car and as for the mechanic, my day in court is coming.
The BMW"s mileage is 187000, however at 176000 miles the engine was changed at a garage with an original 80,000 mile engine. So basically the car has only covered 102000 miles on the current engine. This is receipted.
The car has loads of history and recipts for all sorts including the LPG fitting, replacement engine, new suspension all round, new fuel tank, amongst other recipts. The car has some service history also.

The bodywork is very good and the car does not suffer from the rusty arches. There are a couple of rust marks on the rear lower panel and a small rust spot to the drivers door, however it is a very clean car with nice alloys and good tyres.
The car needs the head gasket replaced, a new handbrake cable and a new stereo. The car ran perfect and sounded really sweet before the baffoon of a mechanic knackered the head.
The car is located in Northampton, just off the M1. You will need a trailer to remove the car as it does not drive!!
