The mechanical running of the car is very sweet, during my ownership I have replaced the Front Discs and pads, and installed a new Viscous fan due to the old one not working as well as it should as well as have BMW carry out an Inspection II. It has always started, never overheated and power is available in every gear. I have had the car treated with a Ceramic Coating and within the last week it has had a complete professional valet.
The exterior is in a very good original condition, as with any car of this age and mileage there will be some small marks, this car is not an exception to the rule, it has what you would expect, some stone chips at the front, with some parts of the lacquer peeling away from age and use. The alloy wheels have some very minor kerb marks but are otherwise in very good condition with no flaking. The windscreen does have some chips in it, however they are on the passenger side and not in the driver"s view.
The leather is immaculate and retains the quality well fitted feeling it had when new. The roof lining is untouched and doesn"t appear to have had any smokers in the car. The only negative I could find is some lacquer peel on the Handbrake from a ring on a hand, and the car has some pixels out on the dash as is common among E39"s.
