You are bidding on a 2001 Jaguar X-Type 2.5 V6 Sport finished in silver.A lovely car to drive, this motor has never let me down. She starts, runs and drives like a Jaguar should and cruises along at speed with ease.
The bodywork and interior are in good condition for its age. There are some noticeable marks here and there like a scratch on the bonnet which some kind fellow used a key for and a few marks and micro cracks on the rear bumper due to me backing into a wall.....ooops. But overall she is tidy and still makes me smile looking at the old girl.Ive just spent £70 getting her valeted for your convenience so she is squeaky clean ready to go.
Engine purrs like a kitten and has the lovely V6 twin exhaust soundtrack to compliment. Fully serviced last year including the spark plugs (which everyone knows are a job to do) but she will need an oil and filter change soon. Engine bay is clean and neat, all bar a few split plastic covers but nothing to score your eyes at.I changed the front discs and pads only a few weeks ago and that is the only thing thats been needed over the year.I have owned this car for 1 year and have upgraded to the S-Type V8 hence the sale so my time with her has been short but with no issues.
The car has also undergone a clock change in its former life, so the mileage shows 73705 on the dash but the actual mileage is 93476. Why it had this done I do not know, but the guy must have had a good reason.
I also include a new drivers air vent in the sale as the one on the car works but the toggle has broken so its stuck in one position, I brought it ages ago, but never got round to fitting it. The same goes with the towing cover in the rear bumper, it fell off while cleaning and as it turns out was broken so i have a new (2nd hand) one to go on the car, it just needs painting silver. 
Bad Points...- The rear parking sensors do not work and never have but at the same time, never bothered me. You will hear a long beep on start up indicating there is a fault with the sensors- Bodywork is marked here and there- Alloys are scuffed (again shes 14 years old, what do you expect?)
Good Points...- 100% black tinted windows on the rear passenger doors and rear screen- No knocks rattles or bangs from the engine- Everything electrically inside the car works all bar the phone (need a Jaguar one)- Full HID xenon Main beam headlights- Full size alloy spare wheel- Good tight gearbox, no sloppy gear change here- Air con is icy cold and very efficient- Heated front and rear windsreens as well as heated mirrors- All wheel drive
I am also aware of the works this car has had done before me, being a new clutch fitted sometime in 2013, a new set of directional tires fitted in 2013, wheel bearings have been changed along with the offside spring, In fairness, shes been quite well looked after.I have loads of old MOT"s and all the relevant books and things for her. A viewing is most welcome and advised. Come and give her a spin!
