Welcome to the sale of my Proton WIRA
It is a 1.3i, four door, 5 speed manual, petrol and was first registered in 2001.
This is a nice solid and honest car with low mileage and a long MOT. In my opinion it is in good condition but does have a few marks, dinks and scratches commensurate with its age (2001). Purple/dark blue in colour with a black and grey interior. These cars are basic in terms of specification but are known for their value for money and reliability. This car is easy and fun to drive, starts first time every time and will get you from A to B in relative comfort and safety.
Good Points
1. Long MOT  - Oct 2016
2. Nippy and clean 1.3i engine (no leaks or issues with water and oil)
3. Good engine, brakes, smooth gear, clutch and suspension
4. Some service history - several stamps in service book
5. Nice clean, comfortable and practical interior with no tears or holes in the seats
6. Owner"s manual and two keys
7. Cheap to run (fuel, tax and insurance) - excellent economy around town or on the motorway
8. Very low mileage for the age of the vehicle - under 82k (a similar aged car would typically have about 150k miles on the clock)
9. All tyres are in good condition
10. Five seat belts
11. Original mats and carpets
12. Lovely toasty heater 
13. Power assisted steering, which makes in easy to drive and park
14. Excellent VFM - bargain.
Other Points
MOT Advisories:
- brake pipe slightly corroded nearside rear
- brake pipe slightly corroded offside rear
- corrosion to rear sills (very slight on the surface only)
The car has a few scrapes, dinks and scratches which are commensurate with the age of the vehicle. There are more noticeable patches/dinks on each of the rear offside and nearside panels and on the front nearside bumper (see photos). These are just cosmetic and do not affect the performance or safety of the car. The spring to keep the boot up does not work (easy fix). At present, a small broom handle does the job more than adequately. Interior light does not work (it may need a bulb or a fuse).
This is a very basic car with no electric windows, air con, central locking, etc. However, this adds to its charm and means that there is less to go wrong with it and it is easy to maintain and upkeep. Loads of parts available.
Overall
This is a basic car, however, it is very easy to drive and economical to run. Although it has a small engine (1.3i) it has the feel of a larger car with lots of poke and leg room in the interior. The boot is also surprisingly large. The car pulls well through all the gears and cruises peacefully on the motorway, starts first time and is very reliable. This vehicle would make an ideal and charming  mileage car, winter car, station wagon, second car or general run around.
A good solid car at a bargain price. Private sale. The car is taxed and insured (for at least another week). You are welcome and encouraged to test drive it before bidding, providing your insurance entitles you to do so. Remember - you are bidding to buy.
