“Needs clutch actuator reprogramming and fitting back. No MOT, not taxed. Edges of front wings scuffed, particularly offside. Rust point on bodywork just behind driver`s door. Both front tyres lose pressure, apparently this can be common due to tyre/wheel rim seal, both rear tyres ok. The starter is very intermittent in engaging with the flywheel.”

 This car has not been on the road for 2 years but only driven round our field occasionally to keep things moving. It was owned by my late wife who could not drive it when diagnosed with epilepsy. I intended to MOT it and then get about £600 for the number plate but the clutch actuator had to be sorted before it could be MOT`d. I don`t want any more hassle hence this sale. It has a new battery but starter motor operation is intermittent. This morning it started 4 times and ran for a total of about 1 hour, however several attempts on each occasion were necessary for the starter pinion to engage the flywheel. This afternoon the starter would not engage with the flywheel with 8 attempts and I can only assume the problem is due to lack of use. Since then it has started several times but engagement of the pinion on the flywheel takes many attempts so either starter motor or pinion probably causing this problem.
This car was on ebay early February but the winning bidder (some poor guy`s wife) did not see that it could not be driven away and so in the end decided not to buy.
Repeat: This car cannot be driven away, a trailer is needed!
