For Sale: 2001 (last year of the classic shape) IMPREZA sport AWD with a full genuine STI S201 bodykit
I bought this car as it was completely rust free (they are known to rust at the arches - this has none) with the long term intention of purchasing a turbo car and transferring the mechanicals across to this. It has been a slow project as this is my daily commute car!
The bodykit is genuine STI S201, of which only 300 were made worldwide, and only 1 in the UK. i know it is a bit of a marmite car with the styling, but i like it, and the kit was designed to be fully functional in aerodynamics, you will not see another one like it. It is part of the classic shapes timeline, rarer but not as well received as the 22B.  As it is genuine all the shut lines are correct and the fitment spot on. the colour of the car is 792 silver (factory i have not resprayed) and the bumpers/skirts are supposed to be a different colour, i went slightly darker than factory and chose steel blue metallic (RB5 body colour). As it is my daily commute car it is not perfect, but very good for a 14 year old.The alloys are Prodrive speedlines 16 (the size an S201 had from factory) so fit perfectly, at the end of last year i had brand new tyres all round, so less than 2000 miles ago. i also serviced it and did new front pads, red calipers.engine wise it is standard apart from an induction kit, strut brace and a Hayward and Scott stainless catback exhaust, so sounds rumbly but not silly. occasionally a CEL comes on and then goes, does not affect car and is a common issue of a faulty sensor, have had this checked just never got round to replacing.Interior has front bucket seats, triple guage pod and a blue wrapped centre console. Sparco gearknob and map reading lights in the roof. No rips or tears non smoker car.
Mileage is at 144k, but in daily use, it is quite good on fuel and still comfortable/practical for daily use.It has got a fair bit or service history up to 100k, and my father in law is a mechanic so had maintained it. At its MOT this year i had the cambelt and all pullys replaced, with receipt, so its good there.
Has current MOT, and is Taxed but this cant be transferred due to new laws. Test drives will only be entertained if you can prove your insured/licensed and have a cash deposit in my hand of £500. if not i can take you out for a drive, for serious enquiries, no tyre kickers
i really have no idea what this car is worth to other people, so listing cheap to see where it finishes, it is being listed elsewhere so can end at anytime. i wont reply to "lowest buy it now, best for cash" offers. many thanksany questions please ask
