Hi, with much regret my scoobys having to go up for sale due to family problems and needing a car daily now so my pride and joy has to go as I can"t afford to use it as an every day car :(
I"ve owned my scooby since the middle of January and have spent a fortune on her but unfortunately still haven"t got her finished, as you can see in the last pics it has come a long way since buying it as I"ve always wanted one and was my weekend toy, I did just under 400 mile in her over the bank holiday weekend and didn"t miss a beat and was the 1st long run since I picked it up from Rotherham when I bought it. I really dont want to part with her but needs must unfortunately :(
I"ll start with the ups,
it"s a 2001 IMPREZA wrx turbo uk model
I"ve always let it get to full temperature before moving and if I"ve been on boost left it a minimum of 5 mins before switching off as I"m paranoid and dont want it to go pop (another reason I was put off getting one sooner but wish I had)
mot till 14th October
runs and drives well
turbo bucket seats (had normal in when I bought it)
classic sti style spoiler
momo steering wheel as standard
japspeed turbo back exhaust angled exit
morrettes
tinted rear windows
is lowered on adjustable coilovers (just ebay specials as needed a quick fix for the bent shock so thought I"d upgrade to coileys)
inovite redline 18 alloys (not very old still have stickers inside rims that are readable)
sti replica scoop
plastic fog covers not fiberglass copys
every pipe thats common for splitting has been replaced with silicone ones, y pipe the intake pipe plus all the rest you see as i got abit carried away as the originals looked well worn (it developed a boost leak on the way home from buying her so i changed all the comon pipes plus more with silicone ones rather than normal crap)
genuine hks dumpvalve (upgraded when it developed the boost leak as it had an ebay special on so though it was that at 1st)
it had a service just over 1000 mile ago when i bought it as looked really dirty also did gearbox oil change and also have included is some ngk platinum spark plugs as never got round to doing them but bought them, also did coolant flush and change when changing rad hoses to silicone ones
had 2 rear calipers not long before i bought it
also have a brand new decat up pipe included
hid kit as standard bulbs were like candles
rear tyres arent very old but fronts are wearing funny due to tracking
have the full logbook in my name and most recent mot cert 1 key and 1 fob
had a brand new battery and alternator belt a week after buying it as they were both past it
and best of all with the straight threw has the amazing scooby burble topped of with the hks tweet :)
 
now for the downs
no tax due to new laws
arches have started to scab (common scooby problem, was waiting till summer to sort the body work out and then get it plasti dipped but looks like thats not happening now :(
palm dints in the bonnet where previous owners have pushed too hard to shut it
needs new pads in the rear (fronts got changed when i bought it and all got bled as brakes were s##t but now there seeming crap again and theres a slight grinding from the back and isnt cleaning the disc properly so would guess need new pads and freeing off as think the pads have gone off (been in too long)
tracking needs doing desperatly as i couldnt afford it at the moment and only use her on a weekend mainly so never worried too much
needs a new rear bush arm on the wish bone (little bar that bolts on the back of the wishbone with 2 bolts and a bush either side of the subframe) as my original shock collapsed and bent on a pot hole as it looked like it had been on from new and when it did so im guessing its done this too as the wheels sat back abit and pulls left but theres no signs of wishbone damage or subframe and was only at 20mph max as it was down a single track road and i dont drive round like a t##t!)
gearbox clicks in reverse and has done since i bought it but never got any worse so ive learnt to ignore it.
1 outer morrette lence is missing on the passenger side (bulbs ok as its behind the dome, also included is some citreon c2 fogs i got given off a friend as they look the same size lense just havent got round to to seperating them yet but are included for you to have a go)
usual rocker gasket weaping the odd drip ( again was going to look at doing these when i got round to doing the plugs)
only one key and imobiliser fob which in my opinion needs removing as its s##t its tempremental and doesnt like to work near newer phone masts so you have to get towed away from it to start the car as i found out when i went for a meal with the wife! :(
rear seat base has a tear on the front from when i picked the bucket seats up 
engine lights on due to de cat ( i had it turned off stayed off for 500 mile ish from pottering about but soon as i went on my 400 mile trip came back on but doesnt affect the car
airbag light on due to seats not having airbags (apparently theres some resistor you buy for 30p ish to put in the plugs and turns it off but im no good with electrics so id still of probably blown my self up lol)
up pipe cat has collapsed which is causing a slight power loss and you can hear it rattling about but thats why i bought the decat up pipe just havent got round to fitting and buying the gaskets as i got told it was a 4-5 hour job so been putting it off till we start getting a proper summer lol
 
 
i know ill be making the scooby sound alot worse than it is as i always do when i sell cars but i like to let people know exactly what there buying/coming to look at rather than wasting a journey and there time and my time by nit picking and not buying!
no one will be test driving my car without the money in my hand! so dont want any little chavs appearing expecting to rag the ar#e out of it and had no intention of buying as youll be wasting your time!
this car owes me just over 2.5k after buying it and the money ive put in to her which with any car you never get back what you put in and she still needs abit doing so ive reflected that in my price decision, but im not giving her away either so i think the price is fair. and if your coming with the cash to view you might walk away with her for less as ill save on fees ;)
im not interested in swaps as i have too much stuff and bills i need to sort out with the money before i work out what i have left for a diesel down grade :(
