2001 Subaru Impreza Turbo WRX Current milage approx 124k
Reluctant sale, but I"ve decided to move and won"t have room at my new place, I just have a couple of other projects, and this is the one I love the least....
I purchased last year and carried out some improvements, took it too some shows/events but its been sat idle in my garage since. Had a TGV fault at the end of last year, which i"ve only just got round to fixing (replaced and runs fine now with no engine warning lights on dash).Its been garaged throughout my ownership, and always looked after.
New Parts:
New Exedy Stage 2 clutch and lightened flywheel (takes some getting used to)New Tein Flez Z coilovers (very stiff, but I wanted the car low)New Front discs, pads and 1 calliperPolybushed throughoutEngine out to replace some leaking oil seals,All less than 3K agoAll above fitted professionally by DS Motorsport with invoices to prove (£2k without the cost of clutch and coilovers)
Full service, cam belt etc and check over at Kamikaze Racing (Impreza specialists) just after I purchased it (121K miles) (£710 cost)
Brand new Cobra sports 3 straight through exhaust fitted 250 miles ago
As I brought it already had the bodykit and morette headlights and smoothed boot.Spec from last owner:

It looks black in the pictures, but is actually classed as blue/black.. apparently a limited Subaru colour...?
Service book is stamped up to 109k, had an oil/filter change at 115k and then I had a full comprehensive service with cam belt and water pump at 120500 at Kamikaze when I bought it. Its now due another oil change, but I"m not using it so will leave this for the new owner.
Cobra immobiliser/alarm (1 of the fobs needs a replacement cover) comes with override key and pin etc
Just had a fresh MOT with the tyres as an advisory (I hadn"t changed them as I was going to go for a set of slightly wider 17"s but never found a set I liked. I had to borrow a friends steering wheel for the MOT as the airbag light is on with the deep dish Kodi wheel and the horn button doesn"t want to work.
Bad bits:Rear qrtr has been keyed and touched up1 slight bubble of rust on rear arch (not broken the paint) that I can see and a very small patch on the front of the bonnetI damaged the splitter on a speed bump. I haven"t done anything about it.. could either be repaired or replaced.tyres will need replacing soon.Airbag light is on due to aftermarket steering wheelhorn not connectedTurbo timer doesn"t work, but spare is included
I"ve pictured the damage/defects so you can see.
The paintwork would really benefit from a proper valet, clay bar and polish, but I just don"t have the time at the moment.
All in all its a brilliant Scooby that I think I have priced very fairly given its condition and the parts and work I have put into it. I"m not desperate to sell, but have now decided to move, so want this to go on to a new owner before then.
Some things to note... the clutch, exhaust and coilovers all make for for a bit of a savage ride.. personally I wouldn"t use it as a daily... but thats up to you...
