This is our 14 year old VW GOLF 1.6 S
RELISTED DUE TO TIME-WASTER :(
It"s not a bad ride but has its inevitable quirks.
We"ve driven it across the UK with not a hint of a problem.
The gearbox was given a complete overhaul by Transmission Workshops, so is good for many miles.
At about 2000rpm a rattling noise is heard for a few seconds - not sure what it is - exhaust heat shield perhaps. But it doesn"t effect performance in anyway.
Body has a fair amount of scratch marks and dings. The car only unlocks from passenger side as some kind fellow tried to jimmy the driver"s lock.
