I have for sale my wifes 2001 Zafira 2.2 Elegance. It is being sold as Spares or Repair due to a failure to start.
The car has 147689 miles on the clock.The reason the vehicle is for sale is that just prior to Christmas the car developed a misfire on one cylinder.
After my wife driving to her mothers (were the vehicle currently resides) she was unable to restart.I have had a look but am not a mechanic, It has a new set of plugs and the car tries to turn over but never catches.
Quick discussion with my local garage and the diagnosis is the coil pack has gone.Would of fixed but we were going to replace when the MOT was due so this has just brought the timetable forward a month.I have just had a new Downpipe and CAT fitted. At the last MOT car failed on 2 bulbs and the OSR brake caliper. There was an advisory for a drip of an oil leak.
Other bad points1. Rear windows will not open. One of the motors keeps popping the fuse believe this is the passenger side one as that packed up before the drivers side.
2. There is a scrape from OSF wheel arch to back of drivers door where somebody decided to use the car as a parking aid in a car park.
3. Small amount of rust showing on base of Drivers side doors.
4. Couple of normal dings as any 13/14 year old car would have.Good points1. Car is in Polar Sea Blue which is really nice.

3. Factory Tinted Windows all round.
4. Has been fitted with the later 16" 10 Spoke Alloy wheel
5. Has been fitted with later clear rear lights. Car really is to good to scrap, perfect for a home mechanic to put back on the road.Payment by Cash on collection please. For obvious reasons I would suggest viewing the vehicle before committing to purchase.
