For sale : A 2001 Y reg Volkswagen Beetle in blue. Personal reg in pictures is not included in sale, will be supplied with Y894 OTF (transfer of plates has already been completed). One previous owner.
The exterior of the vehicle is in good condition, the main defects are pictured - there is one deep scratch to the front bumper and smaller scratches on the passenger doors. The interior is also in good condition for the age. CD changer in boot and FM/cassette player in the front. Original VW flower included!
The car drives well, has just had two new front tyres and new disc brakes and pads at the back. Engine warning light is illuminated and this has been investigated by multiple garages with no faults found. I have owned the car for four years and it has been intermittently illuminated during this time. Recently the LCD screen which displays mileage has also been intermittently disappearing (seems to be temperature related), but when last checked, as seen in picture, mileage was 128,327, car has been used very little since. Perhaps someone who is VW savvy will know a quick fix to these problems, and other than these issues, it has been a reliable car. Am selling as have upgraded to a newer model.
MOT expires on 13th February this year and I have been paying tax monthly (it is £19.77 to tax per month).
