"Blue Frost" metallic with contrasting dark and light grey half leather interior this car is in absolutely superb condition, its a 2 owner car with 66500 miles, extensive service history with 18 ! service stamps and loads of receipts for work done include a full engine rebuild at TVR power and since then a further cam and fuel chip upgrade. The car did a lot of its mileage in its early years with the first owner and enjoyed TVR Factory servicing and then TVR Power servicing up to 51k. The second owner hasn"t put as many miles on the car only averaging around 2k per year but has had it religiously serviced every year at an independent garage.
Body work is in excellent order save for one minor knock on the O/S rear corner of the bumper (see pic) other than that it is near perfect and looks to have had a recent full repaint. Hood and interior are all in really good condition. Engine bay is clean and well maintained with ACT upgrades.
As this is a MK3 last of the line Chimaera it was built during the "T" car period alongside Tuscans and T350s so it benefits from the improved powder coating ( light grey) that the later cars had, hence no chassis corrosion issues, its in excellent rust free condition and looks to have had regular wax oil treatment but everything is visible and all in good order, nothing is hidden by thick black stone-chip paint as many are.
The car drives and handles as it should and is definitely a step up over a standard 4.5, the power and torque are awesome.
Its done 66k which really is nothing in the grand scheme of things the main point to consider is its had regular use along with regular servicing so its been used and maintained and kept in really good condition....which in our opinion is the best way to buy a TVR, it hasn"t sat idle for years deteriorating as many of the cars with half this mileage have, its been used, enjoyed and looked after and to its credit because of that everything works!
Offered here at a late season bargain price, this is the cheapest Mk3 available anywhere and is a true investment, buy it now and maintain it in this condition and watch your money grow whilst having the use of a fantastic car.
