We have taken this vehicle in part exchange and chosen an Ebay advert is the best way to sell.
The vehicle has covered 265000 miles. In this time it has been looked after throughout.
The service book has 19 stamps. A new engine was fitted in 2007 when the vehicle had covered 117000 miles. Ivor searle of Soham undertook the replacement.
There are lots of the items that have been replaced and these are written down in the service book. Shocks, track rod ends, discs, bearings, brake pipe hoses, air con rods, struts, springs, suspension bearings, washer pumps, exhaust, engine mounts...... there are lots of new parts.
It looks like the most recent cambelt replacement was at 188000 miles. The most recent service recorded was at 247000 miles in july 2012.
I am in possession of 1 key, a V5 registration document and MOT certificate.
The car is in great condition on the body work, wheels, tyres and interior has held up remarkably well.
I have test driven the vehicle for 100 miles and come up with the following appraisal
Known faults: The clutch can be made to slip if you ask for performance when low in the rev range and in a high gear.
An engine mount is rocking (play in an engine mount bush)
The red oil warning light can sometimes flicker on and off when the vehicle is at idle.
When going around a right corner you can sometimes hear a squeak from either a tyre or auxiliary belt. Its minor so I cant tell if its tyre noise or belt squeak.
Thats all the faults I can find on this vehicle. Quite remarkable really!!
All in all, a people carrier with boot space for £600 is a bargain, no other way to say it. It must be the best value vehicle on ebay??
