Alfa  Romeo 2.0 GVT for sale - Black with a black leather interior, 17” teledial wheels and rear spoiler.
111,000 miles and has an MOT until February 2015. The tax has expired and it is declared SORN but I can obtain tax at the buyers expense if required.
I have a part service history, the engine runs very well starts first time and is a very fun car to drive and can easily handle daily commuting. The vehicle has been garaged since March 2014.
Prior to being off the road the car has started slipping out of 4th gear. 4th gear selects but as soon as you engage the accelerator it slips out. Luckily enough you have enough power in 3rd and 5th to pick up the slack without over/under revving. I haven’t had the garage take a look/repair due to lack of use over the last 6 months and it being SORN declared for the last 6 months.
The car has a dry bearing on the heating/ventilation unit meaning it squeaks when in operation, second hand they are readily available and are cheap to replace.
There is an issue with the central locking in that it will only lock when manually locking the passenger side door with the key, when you try to use the key fob the door mechanism makes a crunching noise and the alarm engages but it does not lock. The garage said it was a solenoid and they would need about £70 to fix.
On rear passenger side paintwork there is a slight scuff and, small dent above the rear wheel arch, and a scuff on the corner of the rear bumper. I have taken some pictures which hopefully shows these clearer and would be happy to take more if required.
There are usual signs of wear and tear you would expect from a car of this age and the alloys are in good condition for the age.
Rest assured even with the imperfections listed above this is still a very fun car with a reliable engine, which can easily be made perfect again. It will hopefully put a big smile on someone’s face and it will be sorely missed.
