SPARES OR REPAIR 2002 Chrysler PT CRUISER LIMITED CRD SILVER (Spare engine included in the sale)
I purchased the Chrysler PT Cruiser, this year as a project and I"m selling due to not having the time to repair due to work commitments
When I purchased the Car, number 3 injector had popped out of the head, I had this drilled out and refitted, we used the car for a couple of weeks, however now I have found when the engine is running number 2 injector is leaking causing fuel/oil to drip also there is a slight leak from the turbo pipe to the intercooler, which will need replacing.
The Chrysler engine itself sounds nice when running, it doesn"t overheat and the car itself drives very well, all the tyres are in good condition.
I have purchased a Vito 2.2CDI engine with no faults, (INCLUDED IN THE SALE) all the injector bolts are good, although I have removed injector 3 to put into the Chrysler (this could easily be refitted) I was going to replace the cylinder head with the Vito head as it is in vgc
The Interior of the Chrysler is reasonably tidy for its age, the seats are in good condition.
The exterior/bodywork is in reasonable condition, however it has a few scratches and stone chips due to its age and the front bumper is badly scuffed and also the back bumper is scratched: the boot has its Chrysler badge missing. If you purchase 2 second-hand silver bumpers/the chrome kit and some paint touch ups here and there: the car would look good, it is a project and needs some tlc
Although this car drives and is MOT"ED Please come with a trailer, as the car is leaking fuel/oil from the injector making it not road worthy
