Here we have my Citroen XSARA, which I bought after a hip replacement to get me driving earlier, I then went back to my manual car, and passed it on to my grandson who is learning to drive. It had to be transferred into his name for a learner insurance. He found it to big and powerful for him and I found automatics were much easier on my hip so had it back from him and put it back in my name, so of the 9 owners 3 of them are us.
I have now bought a BMW auto so the XSARA has to go.
All told we have had it for about 2 years and it has done us proud, never let us down and tows my small trailer a treat.
At nearly 103000 miles the diesel engine is hardly run in especially as you can`t over rev an automatic.
The gearbox changes smoothly and everything works ok.
Just after I bought it the aircon didn`t work and that cost a new condenser and regassing, about three weeks ago the exhaust decided to fall off and has been replaced including the cat.
