Im selling my much loved Picasso due to buying a new car so it has to go fast, i was using it as a daily commute to work and back which it does with ease 40 miles a day to be exact. as with any car there are good and bad points so will just list them for ease.
Good Points:on 22-12-2014 it had a new cam belt fitted along with drive belt and water pump as well as new discs and pads costing 547.54on 21-01-2015 it had the gear linkage control cable replaced with OEM new part costing 233.00last service and MOT was 02-09-2014 costing 203.45before that was 19-09-2013 mot and service costing 448.69 as needed shock absorber also.then the earliest service and mot paid for by me was on 29-08-2012 costing 343.61 as needed a tyre and cv joint gatorhad aircon re-gass on 27-07-2012it has full service history in the bookit has 3 great condition tyres and one slightly warn see picture.I paid 1,780 for the car on 15 Oct 2011 with 89,000 miles on it and have spared no expense on it since then, with all the paperwork to prove it.it has working electric panoramic sunroof a rare expensive option normally only seen on Desire modelsdoes 53mpg in the summer and drops to 47mpg in the winterseats come out and it turns into a van!Starts first time every time never misses a beat and has plenty of power on pull away and drives lovely and is comfortable for long journeys
Bad Points:had a minor bump witch has very slightly bent the bonnet and put a couple of splits on the bumper (see picture) also caused fan to be a bit noisy, however it rarely needs to kick in and is only 20 quid.needs new drivers side drive shaft not been officially diagnosed but clicks if turning corners and causes fairly regular judder under braking.it has 3 small chips in the windscreen 2 of theses have been treated NONE of them are an mot failure.interior is a little shabby to be fair it was in the same condition when i bought it so no change.it has developed the beginnings of rust on the sills so will need treating soon see pictures.it will need a service in September to preserve its history and due to the miles i did in it an oil change at least is advised.the ignition barrel plastic component melted due to a design flaw involving the air filter, i have swapped it but this means there is a second set of keys just for the ignition (i could prob dig out old barrel if wanted?)loses some coolant over time as i replaced the temperature sensor and didn"t seal it properly not a big job just a messy one.remote central locking fob eats batteries sometimes just two clicks and its stops working.
it is still drivable (up until Friday i was still commuting in it) and too nice a car to scrap plus has cost me a lot of money and would be a shame to throw that away it still has plenty of life in it.
