Welcome to my auction for this 2002 (02) Jaguar X-Type 2.1 V6 5 speed petrol, finished in stunning bright red which still retains an excellent shine and hasn"t faded like most red cars, this is complemented with colour coded bumpers / mirrors and genuine 16 Jaguar alloy wheels with good tyres, there is also a towbar with twin electrics fitted. The bodywork is very straight down both sides with only the usual marks consistent with age and mileage the worst being a slight scuff to the drivers side rear bumper and some very minor surface rust (see pics) but nothing that detracts from the cars overall good looks. Inside it only gets better with un marked cloth interior, walnut dashboard trim, Jaguar cd player with built in telephone options, ice cold air conditioning, electric windows, electric mirrors, front armrest with spacious cubby hole, 12v accessory point, large glove compartment. The seats are very comfortable as you would expect from a prestige car like this and will easily seat five adults with enough room in the boot for any of you luggage needs golf clubs, shopping etc. mechanically the car has been very well looked after it has only covered 103,000 miles with service history up to 98,000 miles, the Jaguar purrs into life first turn of the key and has a lovely roar from the very responsive 2.1 V6 engine, the drive is silky smooth as you would expect, the manual gearbox selects every gear with ease and the brakes are pin sharp stopping you at a moment"s notice with no pulling or juddering under load, this is a very nice place to be whether its just popping to the shops or travelling the length and breadth or the country. This car came to me as a part exchange and only has m.o.t until 4th july 2015 the previous owner has had it in for an m.o.t which it unfortunately failed due to needing welding to the nearside and offside sills this shouldn"t be a big issue for someone with a bit of mechanical ability, with this small amount of work done this will be an excellent car once again.
