I have had this Jeep for 6 months now & I’ve done about 7000 miles in that time & it has been very reliable & was especially good in the deep show during winter. Since I got the Jeep I’ve spent a lot of time & money getting everything working as it should & I’ve repaired all the common faults that these Jeep’s have like the blend doors for the heating system, wiring for the heated seats, repaired the front speakers, drivers door wiring loom, thermostat, water pump, injection pump seals & other things as well. I’ve changed the oil & filter twice since I bought it & also changed the air filter, fuel filter, coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid & filter, 4 shock absorbers, steering damper, 2 track rod ends, both front cv joints, drive belt, alternator pulley, front handbrake cable, both rear wheel bearings, front & rear differential fluid & a few more things as well. I have the hand book with service history up to about 60,000 miles and a few receipts for tyres & 2 front wings. I have the v5 in my name. M.O.T. Until the end of November, still taxed & insured & in daily use. Low miles for age & the bodywork is in good condition & polishes up well. There is a roof mounted tv in the back with a ps2 under the rear seats which will also play dvd’s & there is 2 wireless controllers & headsets which work. This uses a 2.7L 5 cylinder Mercedes engine & also a Mercedes gearbox from the Mercedes ML 270 CDi. It’s has plenty of power & is surprisingly quick for something this big but is also good on fuel & will easily average 30mpg & 35+ on a long run. Viewing is recommended & the buyer will need to arrange collection as soon as possible after the end of the auction or I can meet the buyer in Inverness or anywhere within a reasonable distance for the cost of fuel.
