2011 - Front diff recall completed
2012 - £595 spent getting all the internal leather brought back up to standard, recolored and cleaned professionally.
2013 - £4000 spent on engine overhaul - new Vanos unit plus new timing chains and 2 new valves fitted.
2015 - Over £1000 spent on new breather system and new rocker cover.
Well over £9000 spent on this vehicle in 3 years receipts included with the purchase.
All coolant hoses renewed at 143551 miles.
Last oil and filter change 1000 miles ago.
Coolant renewed at 147154 miles.
Bad Points
Usual age related stone chips to front end, scratch on front bumper, stone chip in front headlight and the odd light scratch, nothing too major. The 6 CD Multichanger has never worked since I have owned the vehicle but is a simple replacement. This car has also had the expensive option of the Nokia portable handset fitted in armrest. However, I have had this vehicle to every Range Rover dealer in the North East and nobody can get it to function correctly.  The TV worked perfectly about a year ago but now requires a freeview box in order to function as all television signals are now digital. This again is a simple fix. I never really used the tv function so have never bothered to get a freeview upgrade for the vehicle. Have been advised that the torque converter will need replacing at some point (That was four years ago, and it is still going, so I have never had it replaced).
I am very particular about my cars and like them to look and drive how they should.
As I work away from home this car is kept in secure 24hour dedicated vehicle storage under cctv, and also kept out of direct sunlight.
The above is the reason for the sale. I rarely get to drive the car at all as I work away from home.
Make no mistake; this is not a Range Rover sport, HSE or anything else! For sale is a ‘proper’ fully loaded Vogue Range Rover. This car was £60,000 in 2002 and still drives like a dream.
