2002 Rover 45 Impression S2 TDi
This is my own personal car and in daily use.
This is a rare opportunity to own a low mileage example or this great British saloon with the bombproof and legendary 2.0 L series diesel.
This car has covered only 45,000 miles from new with MOT history and some history.
The car was originally an MG Rover staff car and then was sold into the dealer network where upon it was sold to the previous keeper via Dixon Motors in Doncaster.
I bought the car directly from the previous keeper so the car has only had 2 keepers in its life which is also rare.
The car also benefits from some factory options that were not standard on this model.
The passenger seat has height and lumber adjustment; it also has rear chrome sill tread plates, rear window blind and factory mud flaps and mats and boot liner and chrome mirrors.
I have also retrofitted a Rover 75 auto dim mirror to make night driving more pleasurable and I have also up rated the washer jets to Citroen mist ones which work far better than the Rover standard ones.
I have also fitted an up rated Honda Accord interior light which has a brighter bulb and two map reading lights.
The car has also had extensive work done on it and in the last month I have replaced the diesel leak off pipes, up rated the MAF sensor with a Digimafam box and Pierburg MAF so the car goes like stink now and it has just had a new fuel pump timing solenoid fitted so this one sounds like a diesel and not a knackered old Transit van.
The cambelt and fuel pump belt could do with been changed and I have purchased these and they can be sold to the buyer at reduced cost if need.
The car drives faultless as you should expect and everything works.
The exterior of the car is presentable with the age of it but it does have the odd mark and on the paintwork and as can be seen the rear bumper has taken an knock and split and the chrome trim is damaged.
However its still a 14 year old car at the end of the day and to be expected as its parked outside in all weathers and used.
Car has front electric windows, air con (ice cold), heated front seats, headlamp wash, abs with ebd, 16” Cosmos alloy wheels, full leather seats and steering wheel and gear knob, Factory Rover cd player with wheel controls, front fog lights.
Two keys and fobs, both work and the spare key still has the plastic over the blade and it also has the grey key tag number.
Full book pack with handbook, service book, audio book and code cards with the alarm/immobiliser EKA code present.
I know how rare these cars are especially with this mileage and trim/spec and engine combination and I challenge anybody to find me another in this condition with this history at this price with the same spec.
These do 60+MPG on the combined driving cycle and will obtain 45+ MPG in town easy. So if your after an economical car this is it.
My feedback speaks for itself and I have sold many cars with no complaints.
The reason for sale is simple we have just purchased a Bailey Discovery and the car is not up to pulling it so better to part with the car and get something that will do the job.
I HAVE BOOKED THE CAR TO HAVE A TOWBAR FITTED ON SATURDAY, SO IF THE CAR IS NOT SOLD BY THEN IT WILL BE REMOVED FROM SALE AND TOWBAR FITTED!!
So if you have always promised yourself a low miles Rover 45 diesel now is you chance before I run it into the ground.
Part-x considered if it’s a larger diesel car.
I would like the car to go to a Rover owner or enthusiast as it’s a rare thing with the miles and spec but any buyer is welcome.

Like on a recent sale to spend 2 hours while he looked over a £400 car that was more than described fairly, buyer still took the car and paid with no issue just don’t have the time so please view beforehand and take as long as you need but not on collection day.
I describe my cars honestly as my feedback shows as I wouldn’t like to disappoint anybody with a sale and many people say I am to negative but this keeps disappointment on both sides down.
