“This car is in pretty good condition it has heated full leather seats, it has been with us for about eight years. There is a small star shaped puncture in the rear window which can be welded closed with a little clear patch if needed, there are a few spots of rust here and there in mostly hidden places, the boot lid has a hairline crack in the centre of the panel but this has been there since we bought the car. It has just had an oil and filter change and also a brand new sump with drain plug at the same time, as the old sump was leaking oil, now no oil leaks at all. The electric roof works in all respects and is watertight. Drives smoothly, tyres are all reasonable, MOT is May 2016 and it is taxed until December this year.”

Hello, this is my wife"s Smart car, which we have owned for about eight years. We have just bought another car so wish to sell this now.  This Smart Passion has a nice specification including heated full leather seats.  The car starts and runs without problems, changes gear smoothly and has just had an oil and filter change and at the same time the engine sump pan was replaced for a new one (as they corrode then leak oil - well known problem apparently).  I have advertised it elsewhere for £1,500 o.n.o. so reserve the right to withdraw the car from ebay if needed.  If you would like to inspect the car near Henfield West Sussex please call Vic on 07815 287230 to arrange a time.  I think the car is still insured so I can take you for a test drive.  If the car fails to sell privately I accept the risk of selling at the highest price on an ebay bid, there is no reserve so if it sells for 99p so be it (but I"m hoping it will fetch near the price I am looking for).
I didn"t take the whole roof off to take the photos today, if you look at other listings you will see that the side bars are removable as well as the roof going back under power, the side bars store neatly under straps in hidden pockets in the rear door panel when not in use, one of the photos shows the compartment in the rear door opened and the empty pockets.
As this is a private sale, there is no warranty with the car. Payment would be via cash on collection or Paypal if you really need to do it this way.
