2002 CORSA 1.2 SXI, 3 door. This is a great little car that has had a lot of money spent on it over the years. It has MOT until 14 September 2016, no advisories. The service book is present and contains 9 stamps (serviced by Vauxhall main dealer up to 2011). The car has only done around 1,000 miles since the last service. Although the car has clocked up 160,000 miles it was fitted with a low mileage replacement engine and gearbox a few years ago. At the same time it had a rear brake rebuild including new drums, bearings and shoes. Last year the water pump was replaced and it also had new front brake discs and pads. The exhaust is solid and the battery fine. New windscreen wipers have just been fitted. All the tyres have decent tread and the alloys hold air well. The bodywork is in very good order and is straight (even for a black car) with only a few minor usage marks to be seen if you look round closely. The black paintwork appears to be original and still gleams. The car is quite eye catching. A couple of the alloys would benefit from a lick of paint but nothing drastic. Enlarge the pictures for a better look, I haven"t  tried to hide anything. The interior is nice and tidy. The handbooks are in the glove box. The car has a Sony CD player which has an aux socket for plugging in Ipods or MP3 players and also a USB socket for memory sticks. The spare wheel is in the boot. Under the bonnet everything is nice and clean. All the fluids are fresh and there is no gunge in the oil filler cap and the coolant water is clean with the correct red anti freeze in. The engine starts first time everytime and runs very well from cold. All the warning lights on the dash work correctly and go out as they should on start up. These engines don"t have an expensive cambelt to worry about as they use a chain which needs no special maintenance. On the road the car drives great, in fact much better than some low mileage CORSA"s I have owned in the past. The engine pulls well, the gearbox is quiet and changes smoothly. The clutch has a good biting point. The brakes are keen and well adjusted and there are no unusual noises from the suspension. The power steering is light, making the car easy to park. Being the SXI the car has:- Electric windows Central locking (one key with the car) Electric mirrors Side skirts Alloys Front and rear Foglights Factory mudflaps Tilt steering Height adjustable drivers seat Overall this is a well cared for solid little car with plenty of life left in it. The car is totally standard and hasn"t been altered or modified. It would be a great first car or economical runaround. The car is HPI clear and ready to drive off straight away.
