“VW Passat BD52UPX- 2.0 V Mot till August 28 2015 Starts every time / owned it 6/7 years Estimate cost of new mot £600 so I have brought a new car and the Passat is a great car or a decent car to break !Just put new brake switch and rear bulbs .New aux belt and tensioner Had new CV joint drivers side in March Had a new alternater last October ( £330) For mot it needs .....1-2 new tyres ( it has no spare wheel ) Needs CV joint passenger side New windscreen ( cracked ) Rusty wing ( either new one or duct tape for mot) New ABS ring although the warning light is not showing ( it will pass mot like this ) Interior is clean and rip / tear free / ultra bright ( £30) front headlight bulbs Standard radio inside , 5 speed gear box . Vw PASSAT 
Had this car 6/7 years and has never ever let me down , she is ultra reliable 
I have brought a new car and this vw would be a great cheap car with a little time and TLC , or ideal for breaking 
As listed above there are a few parts needed to get through an mot - if I had windscreen cover on my car insurance I would mot it myself but a new piece of glass is £200 and the passenger side window does not go up or down ( this will pass an mot like this tho ) 
This car is mechanically sound and very reliable . 
No reserve must sell and will sell .
