Any car that is sold as spares or repairs only must not be used on any road in Great Britain until the brakes, steering gears, and tyres have been repaired and put into a lawful condition, and that the car and accessories are put into a lawfully maintained condition. Car must not be used during the hours of darkness, until all lighting equipment and reflectors are repaired and put into a lawful condition. Any current M.O.T certificate, or any road fund licence, is not an indication that the car may be used on the road, and that it must be conveyed from the sellers premises.
