My Son bought this car about a year ago from a very good friend of mine – who bought it in 2007 from Bedford Constabulary – it was the Chief Constable’s personal car. My Son only had the car for a week & decided it was just too big for him and so I had no hesitation in buying it from him. The car is in absolutely immaculate condition – unsurprising really given the mileage currently stands at just over 53,000! It has fullAudi main dealer service history and the next one isn’t due until May 2015. In the April 2012 service the cam belt was changed, as well as the front discs & pads & front tyres, together with the battery. This year I had the pollen filter & brake fluid changed in addition to the regular service items.  The exterior paintwork of the car is immaculate – apart from two very minor scuffs to the wheels & some strange corrosion on the plastic centre caps. The interior is simply stunning – there is no sign of wear anywhere. The spec is impressive – 4.2 litre V8 engine delivers 335BHP through a six speed automatic gearbox & four wheel drive The gearbox can also be set to manual mode where gear changes can be made either via the gear selector or using the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. 0-60 is under 6 seconds & top speed is limited to 155mph. All of this performance is delivered in near silence in the cabin and even with all that performance on tap 70 – 80mph cruising delivers around 30mpg – I get around 21-22mpg around town. nterior equipment includes: full leather upholstery with electric front seats with memory settings for driver & front passenger. Front & rear seats are heated. Impressive Bose sound system with FM radio & 6 Cd changer. There is also a TV which sadly no longer works following the switchover from analogue to digital although I gather there is an upgrade available should you want to get it working again. Satellite navigation, telephone, cruise control and on board computer allows adjustment of suspension depending on driving style. There’s keyless entry for both the doors & ignition and both keys are present – the spare looks like it’s never been used. All handbooks, service book (all stamped by the main dealers) are also present, as is every MOT from the first one. This truly is an absolutely outstanding car – I’ve yet to see another for sale with anything like the low mileage that this one has. The reason I’m selling it is because I have a new company car on order & simply won’t need this one moving forward.
