HPI Clear
Great looking car in a real nice metallic blue with white roof mirrors and the Cooper stripes up the bonnet. Goes very very well indeed you can drive it nice and quietly round town or on the motorway but if you get an open stretch of country road thats when the fun begins hold the revs at around 3-4K then put your foot down it really does growl all the way to the red lines. Really does handle like its on rails and is great fun to drive. To be honest I wouldn"t mind keeping it but I need the room on my drive.
I"ll be honest I didn"t think I would like the car when I got it but after driving it I have fallen in love with it.
Has all the mod cons which include:
Half leather seats
Electric windows
Electric mirrors
Central locking with anti hi-jack (although I don"t have the remote fob I lock/unlock the doors using the lock)
Power steering
Sony CD/MP3 Player with USB connection
Since I"ve had the car I"ve done the following:
Ball joints (driver and passenger side)
Wheel bearing (drivers side)
Brake discs and pads (front and back) which haven"t bedded in yet
Brake bleeding done correctly by an German car specialist (these have to be bled through the ABS pump to be done correctly and not the usual way of pumping the pedal)
Hand brake cable
Thermostat and housing
The Mini does have the odd minor scar here and there and the rear passenger quarter has been blown in at some point and to me looks a little flat it may need buffing/waxing or even blowing in again to bring the shine back. Tyre noise from the rear tyres but all 4 tyres have plenty of tread remaining. I could just be being to fussy.
Overall the car is in good condition it always starts first time and goes very well. The clutch and gearbox are all working as they should and the steering is nice and tight. There are no warning lights showing on the dash.
