Welcome to the auction for our much loved
Chrysler Voyager 2.5 CRD " ANNIVERSARY EDITION"
Summary
My wife and I bought this car late last year as we became full time child carers and need the 7 seats for the extra children.
I can only imagine that a vast majority of people looking at this advert are probably in the exact same position as I was....
Not got thousands to spend, but looking for a decent people carrier for the family.
So, what are the options? - Kia Sedona or Chrysler Voyager! RIGHT?!
I had heard that Kia had alot of electrical issues so opted for the Chrysler.
I also heard that the GRAND Voyager had issues with rust around the rear underside (not sure if this is true, just what I read in a few places online)
Therefore, I went for the ANNIVERSARY EDITION Voyager and I am so glad we did! - Fantastic car!
The kids love all the space you get, plus the numerous cup holders.... my wife loved to drive the kids around in at as she said it was comfortable and smooth. Also, although it is not a small vehicle, it is remarkably easy to get around in and park up in town.
The sliding doors are a huge help with the children getting in and out, no matter how tight the space is.
As with any used car, it came with a few issues, one being a small oil leak and a poor handbrake. I only noticed these recently and had them fixed at my local garage.
(The Oil leak was a REAR MAIN OIL SEAL, which aparently is a common fault on these cars & new handbrake shoes were fitted - However, this has all now been fixed)
It is only because my wife needs a 4x4 to tow her horse box that we have decided to sell the Chrysler, otherwise we would be keeping it!
It is a very honest car with a few bumps and bruises but I am certain that whoever comes to view this car is sure to buy it. I personally think the Chryslers are very smart looking with the tinted rear windows and large prescence.
Good Points:
Power Steering
Very Spacious
CD / TUNER
Steering controls
Manual Gear box (No clunky automatics)
Surprisingly economical - Around 420miles to £50 of Diesel
Air Conditioning - Nice & cold
Clean & Tidy
Sliding Doors glide nicely - no scrapes or rattles.
Rear bench seat can be quickly and easily removed to turn the whole thing into a van! (Very Handy)
Spare wheel assembly all in working order.
MOT until end of November so ready to drive away
Not so Good Points:
Needs 2 new front tyres (I have reflected this in the price)
Few age related Dents and scratches - Most noticeable are the small dents in the tailgate and the one of the bonnet lid. These were there when I bought the car and never bothered me, hence why I never had them repaired.
The remote locking works on all of the doors other than the 2 sliding doors I have been told that this is a simple locking motor issue which is a cheap fix. However, we simply reached through and used the manual lock from the inside....never bothered us so we did not have it repaired.
Electronic switch to open boot lid does not work (Again, another common fault that is a cheap fix, but we just used the key! - no big deal)
Finally, the fuel filler cap broke, so I bought a genuine replacement, but this came with its own sepereate key, so the filler cap has its own key.
I hope you can see that I have given a very honest description of the car and welcome any questions as I am sure I may have missed something!
However, I recommend you come and see the car before bidding to avoid any discrepencies.
Anyone with less than 10 feedback, please contact me first before bidding otherwise you bid will be cancelled instantly - I have been messed about in the past on EBAY and do not wish for it to happen again.
Car is located in Great Yarmouth Area - NR31
Cash on collection only.
I reserve the right to end this auction early as the car is advertised elsewhere.
THANK YOU & HAPPY BIDDING!
