For sale is my lovely Facelift Porsche Boxster 986 2.7 Manual transmission in a stunning and quite rare Midnight Blue (most are Lapis Blue) as listed above.
It is a real head-turner and drives very well, it is balanced and poised on the road. The noise when the top is down is amazing too.
Please note that the hardtop is not part of this sale and is listed elsewhere privately.
I purchased this vehicle in with 6 owners and have now reluctantly decided to sell it due to getting a company car and this not being that practical as it cant house a car seat ( I have a 3 year old and 6 month baby). I am in no rush to sell as I can still enjoy it for the summer.
I purchased the vehicle having full service history which I have had verified by contacting the dealership in the service book and confirming with the VIN number. At the point of sale in January the person which I purchased the vehicle from serviced the vehicle prior to collection by myself.
He had it for 2 years and was not driving it anymore due to a knee replacement.
Do not be put off by the number of owners as these cars are common to be used for a summer and sold on and for a car which is 13 years old, that"s an average of 1 owner every 2 years.
I have had the car mopped and detailed professionally at the body shop to get rid of any factory orange peel and minor scratches. The interior has also been professionally re-valeted and leather treated and dyes to give a factory matte look.
The vehicle bodywork, interior and engine are in excellent condition for the year. The wheels are very good condition with only a few minor curb scratches to the outer rims as expected. The tyres are also in good condition.
As soon as I purchased the car it had spent £634.40 on a service and the front suspension (shock, springs, coffin arms and drop links.
