The Car:
Thanks for taking a look at this great value, and absolutely stunning low mileage example of the superb Honda Accord 2.4i-VTEC Type-S, finished what I think is one of the nicest colours for one of these - stunning silver metallic with beautiful unmarked black half leather sport trim. Before telling you about the car, I think I should maybe tell you a little about myself... From College 18 yrs ago I went straight to work in the motor trade working exclusively for franchised main dealers in sales (including time with Honda and Honda manufacturer training). This meant that I spent my days appraising and buying cars of all makes and models, both new and used, all day long. As such feel that being able to spot "the nice ones" is a skill developed with many years of industry and manufacturer training. Since leaving the main dealer arena to pursue family commitments I have maintained my industry contacts and get offered many cars by friends and previous colleagues still working in main dealerships who are tasked with keeping an eye out for these "nice ones". With both their experience and mine, this usually gives me a very good chance of obtaining the very best genuine cars at great prices. This usually works for me, (not always, but that"s cars for you) but regardless, my commitment to you is that the car will be described accurately here and priced to reflect the best value I can find across the trade. As those who know me would testify, I thoroughly enjoy working with cars and take a great deal of personal satisfaction in providing people with great cars at an affordable price and am committed to providing great service. Please take a moment to read my feedback, so that you can understand that what is described is what you will be getting and buy with confidence.
These cars are such great value, I just love selling them! They really are just about one of my favourite cars to drive. This one is a lovely example for the price. What else could you buy for the money with all the toys that this has, superb roadholding with Honda"s"s legendary refinement, reliability and quality? The car drives without fault. There is no pulling to the left or right, either when accelerating, driving or braking. The acceleration is smooth and powerful as you would expect, as these superb engines produces a very respectable 187bhp, hardly makes a sound when cruising along and yet can still easily return an average of 32+ mpg. The gearbox moves from gear to gear silky smooth, both up and down through all 6 gears perfectly, the clutch feels light and bites perfectly, and the brakes feel sharp. There is no juddering from the steering wheel at motorway speed, and no funny noises, knocks or whines, and there are no warning lights on on the dashboard. It really couldn"t drive any better! All 4 wheels are in very good/unmarked condition with no more than the odd light parking mark as expected, and the tyres are all in excellent condition - not only that, but the car is actually fitted with a matching, almost new Continental Conti Sport on each corner! I have inspected the car all round, and obviously due to its age and mileage, and really just to cover myself, I will say that there is bound to be the odd tiny stone chip/mark/ding/age related mark somewhere if you look hard enough (there are a few chips on the bonnet but nothing major), but there is absolutely no damage that you would call significant, or even noticeable. The only damage/marks I really feel I could draw your attention to is a small area of damage (a small ripple and scratch - prob about £100 to £150 to have sorted properly but really does not affect the car) on the lower passenger door, and a couple of small scrapes on each corner of the rear bumper which could be easily touched in. Again nothing major in either case but just trying to be accurate, and these really account for the price of the car... I actually think this is the best value car for the money that I have sold all year! Overall the car presents excellently for its age and has obviously been extremely well looked after (See Pics). Inside the car the interior feels like new and there is really isn"t any wear to be found anywhere around the cabin - It really is in lovely condition for its age and miles. The beautiful half leather and satin cloth trim is in unmarked condition, there are no rips or tears anywhere, and the rear seats look like they hardly ever been used. All of the knobs and buttons work, and there are no pieces of trim hanging off anywhere. The digital climate control feels lovely and cold and, as in all Honda"s, the stereo system sounds great, it is a very nice place to be... They really are amazing cars, quick, economical, comfortable, ultra reliable... I could just keep going on and on. It truly is a lovely example (and really, I have to be honest, the pictures do not do the car any justice at all) and is a real credit to its former keepers.
Quite simply, this is an lovely car at a lovely price!! It honestly couldn"t drive any better, is in superb condition for its age, has a full service history, a long MOT, and I can tax it ready for you to drive away in. It also comes with the original Honda handbook pack, complete with service book stamped as detailed above, and both keys. Other than this all I can say really is if you are looking for one of these cars, then you should probably stop reading this ad and call me straight away because the other person reading it may well do so, and as I said, I don"t think you will find a better value car at this age, specification and price anywhere, and I"m sure that the first person to view this car will definitely drive away in it!
