For us it’s been a fantastic family car and used for occasional weekends towing a horse trailer.
The arrival of a new vehicle forces sale.
It drives really well and is in exceptionally good condition for it’s age and mileage (see photos).
There has been no expense spared on maintaining it to the highest standard - it had a new battery, thermostat and rear exhaust section as recently as January of this year.
There are loads of receipts for work from our local garage to demonstrate how much attention to detail we have placed on maintaining and looking after it so you know you’re buying something that’s been well looked after.
Any mechanic will tell you that the diesel engine in these will go on and on and we’ve religiously changed the oil and filter every 6000 miles so don’t be put off by the high mileage.
These were built to withstand harsh north American winters so it is no surprise not to see a spot of rust on it anywhere.
…and the bad points?
There is a small dent to the rear offside wing (see photo)
There are numerous minor surface marks/ scratches to paintwork (consistent with age)
The DVD player turns on but fails to ‘read’ DVDs
