Find out where we are The Jaguar XK8 was launched in 1996 as a direct replacement for the XJS model which had been in production for twenty one years.
With an urgent need to develop a new car but with a limited budget, the XK8 used the existing XJS floorpan but with a new and more curvaceous body style taking cues from both the classic E-type and the XJ220 supercar.
The XK8 was available in a choice of two body styles, fixed head coupe or convertible. There were also two choices of interior trim, “classic” using traditional walnut veneer and leather upholstery and “sport” with dark stained maple woodwork with half-leather trim.
More significant changes took place in 2002 with the fitment of a larger 4.2 litre version of the V8 mated to a new 6-speed ZF automatic transmission.
This particular example is finished in the rare and stunning Zircon Blue metallic with the preferred Classic Ivory Leather interior with Walnut Veneer and the lovely feel through your fingers wood and leather steering wheel. The other options on this car are the desirable 18″ Centaur Alloys, Upgraded Premium Sound System, Rear Parking Sensors and Cold Climate Pack. She has had only 1 owner from new.
She has covered only 33,000 miles and has a full service history, having had a full comprehensive service last year.
On the road these big Coupes are great drivers with the traditional qualities of the Jaguar range whilst having an air of sophistication with the smooth engine and gearbox.
