New car forces sale. I have owned this car for 5 years now, and until last week I was covering 120 miles per day, trouble free.
Why is the car being sold as spares or repairs? ExteriorAs you will see from the photos the body work requires some TLC. Needs new passenger wind mirror and wheel arch trim. There is also some damage to the bumper, again passenger side and a large scratch down the drivers side rear quarter. The general condition of the paint work is quite poor, with heavy swirling and scratches, although I am sure a machine polish would be able to bring this back to life. Engine2 years ago cylinder 1 and 3 were both helicoiled. This has been perfect until I few months ago went to replace the spark plugs and the sleeve that had been inserted in cylinder 3 came out on the plug, I put the spark plugs straight back and haven"t had any issues, however this is not a long term solution. You might be able to get away with just replacing the sleeve in cylinder 3 however Included in this sale is a delivery millage cylinder head worth £300++.
Clutch has never been replaced and although there is no slipping the biting point is quite high.
Handling The car does feel slightly unsettled on rough surfaces which I suspect is down to the front control arm and rear suspension bushes.
The only modification to the car is a resonated Milltek cat back exhaust.
