 Hello and thank for viewing the auction for my Clio Sport 172. The car until recently ran perfectly. The engine seems to be in great condition with a lot of power for such a small car. The car is lowered so it handles like a go kart and the brakes stopped the car quickly in a straight line. I originally bought the car as I was going to sell my other, and I was looking for a fast small five seater. This ticked all the boxes. I was driving along when something in the road struck the underside of the car. I thought nothing of it until my ABS light came on and then the gearbox started leaking fluid. I took it to my mechanic and he said that it would require a new gearbox. I am now back in my other car and so I am looking to sell this as is, or if it doesn"t make what it"s worth, I will probably keep it until I have the money to fix it and have it as a fun track day car.
 The car has MOT until August and aside from the gearbox seemed to be in really decent shape. The engine, as I said before, is fantastic and revs freely and pulls very well. There is a small chip in the windscreen but it"s not on the drivers side. It has an aftermarket air filter and has been lowered to seemingly professional standards as the handling is fantastic. The timing belt was done at 117,700 miles, so that job is taken care of. It has service history up to it"s current mileage and has had thousands spent on it with receipts to prove.
 This would make an awesome fast road car or with the engine could be stripped to make a phenomenal track car. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. The pictures were taken when I bought the car; I will add more of the engine and the outside when I have them.
