Here I have for sale is my Rover 75.With the ultra reliable 2.0 diesel BMW chain driven engine.
This is an extremely rare and highly spec"d 75 with loads of optional extras.
The factory fitted optional extras are:Mirage 2 Monogram/Chromescent paint ( paint code: IAU ).There were only 17 made in this colour, and this is number 8.I am also led to believe that this is the only one ever made in this specific spec, i.e - the colour, interior, & engine combination.
17 Serpent Alloy Wheels with good tyres.
Neptune Blue Personal Line Interior ( seats, carpets, dash, door cards, steering wheel etc ).
Electric rear sun blind.
Xenon Headlights.
Plus the usual Connoisseur refinements: Leather seats.Electric heated front seats.Power seats.Cruise control.
It comes with 2 keys.
MOT until December with no advisories.
3 previous owners.
Relatively low mileage of 135k, but this will rise slightly as still in daily use.
Interior is immaculate.
Part service history.
Clutch - master and slave cylinder have been replaced. I have no receipt to prove this, however if you feel the clutch and drive the car etc, you"ll notice it clearly has been done.
Thermostat has also been replaced.
The car drives faultlessly.
It has a few minor imperfections to the bodywork:Small crack in front bumper below grill ( See picture ).Small marks to front and rear bumpers.
All in all I would say its in good condition for a 13 year old car. A lot better than some of the rubbish out there.
The only fault to my knowledge is that the sunroof has stopped working. I believe that the sunroof slide cover has become loose and jammed the glass, therefore causing the motor to burn out.Apparently this is quite a common problem.You can pick up a new motor for around the £30 mark, and it is a very easy fix.I haven"t done it myself yet as it being winter, I haven"t felt the need.
Taking into consideration the very minor defects, I feel I have priced it accordingly.
This really is a lovely genuine car, and I challenge you to find one better.
The only reason I am selling is purely to fund the search for my dream ZT.If I could afford to keep this as well, I genuinely would.
