Thank you for looking at my auction for the Rover 25. I bought it for my son to use until his car was being repaired. He never used it because it was too small for his family and he got his car repaired far quicker than either of us expected! I don"t know very much about it I only bought it about 2 weeks ago.
Anybody who needs a cheap automatic car or a general runabout then this will serve you well.
During the drive to my son"s house it went very well and was very pleasant. The automatic gearbox functioned correctly and had smooth gear changes. It is the "Stepspeed Continuously Variable Transmission" providing automatic and manual change operation, I didn"t try the manual function during my drive.
The bodywork is in generally good condition and the interior is excellent.
It has about 79000 miles showing, I don"t know the actual mileage because it is parked at my son"s house that is the other side of Exeter from me.
The tyres are good

Bad points, all cars have them.
The main problem is that I bought it there was no V5 but a V5C/2 was given to me. When attempting to tax the car on line it was not accepted as a valid document number. My son contacted the DVLA and was told there was a later V5 issued, but apparently it could still be taxed at the post office with the document, but that means paying for at least 6 months road tax and paying for a replacement V5 using a V62. This is why the car is cheap, normally they would be around £400-500.
The sun roof does not work.
The battery is weak, after standing for 3 days it started promptly, however after standing 9 days the battery was flat.
Has a slight rattle that sounds like an exhaust heat shield vibrating.
There is no "Buy it Now" price as the auction will run until the end.
