I have for sale this REXTON which I purchased a couple of months ago with a gearbox fault.
Since then the gearbox has been removed and refurbished with new parts and is now back on the road.

This one benefits from having a rebuilt 5 speed gearbox over the last month. The engine runs well as does the front and rear axles and transfer box with no funny noises. Drives well. Chassis looks good, no signs of rust, interior ok.
Bits that need looking at:
Since the gearbox was rebuilt the 4x4 lights have come on the dash, no lights before rebuild! (bound to be something simple, Maybe plug left disconnected, ill try and check, Cheap fix), the bodywork has a few scuffs and there is a dent in the rear tailgate. There is no Radio/CD player, small hole/s in the rear exhaust back box (£65 on ebay for replacement), sometimes the engine doesn"t turn off on the key straight away (Common fault-leaky vacuum pipe, easy fix)
Please remember this 4x4 is 13 years old and not in showroom condition hence the low price, with a bit of TLC it would be perfect vehicle and worth a lot more! The Mercedes engines are bullet proof if maintained regularly good for over 200K miles, this is the 2.9tdi engine, more economical than the 2.7 and is far easier to work on if your that way enclined, no fancy electronics to go wrong.
